This is a great looking model and the color choice and application is absolutely beautiful. Well done!  ?

Joe

Thank you Joe.

The interior is comming along. In real cars I really like a black interior. But on models, I like color . Just makes it more exciting to me.

Mated the body to the chassis. I’m really impressed with this revell kit. Parts actually fit, the only thing I added was the tires and wheels , plug wires and distributor. A little more detail would really make this model pop. I am a little lazy on this build. Did not expect much from this kit but was very surprised . Highly recommend. Here it is so far. Hopefully finish it tomorrow.

Finished. Windshield wipers, door handles, door locks, gas cap. Door mirror and license plate installed. Had to put a Nickey dealer logo on the car. Since I’m from Chicago, and lived in California the car has them. This revell kit is good. A lot of detail in the kit. Just add a few aftermarket parts and it’s really good. The only thing I recommend is that one fits the lower front pan before paint. Needs sanding for fitting. I did it after the fact and it would have been easier before paint. A very fun , simple and relaxing build. Thank you guys for the great comments. 0C3CEAF9-0460-4B02-A80E-FEAFC5FFE58F.thumb.jpeg.605bcb9f2520152442e73d34aa092102.jpeg

Hey Bruce,

wonderful job on the Camaro! Everything looks perfect. Very nice interior and the paint job makes it look like the real thing? You chose just the right set of wheels for this car!

Had to change the hood . The hood louvers stuck out too much. Just looked weird to me. This is what I did to correct the louvers. Now it’s finished.

Really nice build, beautifully done. Did you use painted aftermarket PE logos? If so, which ones?

Perry

Thank you gbtr6. By the way I had a TR6 and loved that car. When I retire I’m planning to buy another one. The logos on the car are decals from the kit. The only pe emblem is the Nickey on the trunk lid. I used a wash on it to bring out the letters. The kit decals are really great. I love the decal on the shifter knob, a 4 speed pattern like the hurst shifters of the day.

Louvres looks much better now. Was it easier to cut the hood than shave the bottom of the Louvre?

Thank you beeRS. I tried that but realized it was getting hard to work with. So I decided to cut the opening which was a little nerve racking because of the paint job. I would suggest to fit these before painting. But it worked out.

Wow, the decals all look like PE in the pictures. I may have to get this kit too. I've had my 6 since '77. Did a frame off about 25 years ago. I keep the top down and drive it every day there's no rain. Better get one before you retire and stash it and stock up on parts.
