Bills72sj Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) Break out of my '65 Grand Prix in to its own WIP thread. Body in color. Edited December 7, 2022 by Bills72sj 4
Zippi Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Blue is my favorite color so I'm really linking this one. Looks good.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Love the big Poncho's! High school classmate's parents had a Mayfair Maize one. It didn't have the optional 421 engine but was still pretty quick for a big car.

Bills72sj Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 Finally knocked out the interior for this one. Similar techniques to my 65 Bonneville interior with the exception of photoetched power window switches. I did not mica powder the carpet as it is very challenging (and potentially messy) on a tub type interior. "Slate" color code M44 was an option on the Grand Prix that year. (The aqua coloring in the photos is due to florescent desk lamp.)
Keef Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 That dashboard looks amazing! I’m starting to dig those “Big Girl” Ponchos ?
slusher Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Great wood grain in your interior and really sweet blue paint on the body!
