Revell Baja Bronco (was part of a club Build Off)

I finished something!

My interpretation of the Baja Bronco.   This is a great kit if you haven't built one yet.  I used Fireball Modelworks parts for the wheels and tires (and the spare), and also for the "cactus smasher" push bar and the Daylighter lights.   Seatbelts and buckles came from Gofer Racing parts, and I made a set of exhaust tips from aluminum tubing.   Tamiya paints throughout.   

Our club does a common kit build off - and members have most of the year to work on their builds, with the "big reveal" during our December meeting.  It's probably my favorite club activity.  (Misfit Modelers, we meet at Hanger 18 Hobbies in Cary, NC).

Beautiful looking Broncho. The color combination looks great and was often seen when these first came out. Cleanly detailed appearance. Your other club members builds look good as well.

Very nice, our club also had the Broncos as a club build for our December meeting as well. Unfortunately, as usual work came before fun and was unable to attend.

What a fine build! The Fireball Rims/Tires really look great. Looks like a Dealer "Day2" car.
