If anyone gets ahold of this can you please post a good scan of the decals? I really want to build this but the make or break is how nice the decals are. Based upon the video I know they don't include the blue fades for the body which I'm okay with. The question is how sharp are the decals. I've attached a photo of the actual car.

The decals look great.  I have yet to STUDY them as to what you need to do paint wise. I THINK if you paint the blue it will be good. My Dad worked with TV Tommy as he was Valvoline racing director so I want to build this one too. Thanks

If the body is painted blue than you have to make sure the decals have white undercoat for the colors to look correctly. Unless you have a printer which can print white, your decals will not look good.

If this is a recent kit, maybe you can get a copy of the decal from the kit manufacturer?

It's just been reissued. Dave's pic above is the decals in the current issue.

Looking at magazine listings on an auction site, it might have been in the Drag Racing Magazine February 1973 issue. I'm also not sure if the name is gold or yellow on the actual car. The decals are much better than the original issue.

Lettering was probably gold leaf, Ivo always had sharp looking cars.  Most kit decal sheets substitute yellow; to get something closer to gold leaf you'd have to go to an aftermarket sheet like Slixx.  Seventies MPC sheets usually substitute mud brown for the gold leaf.

The color panels on the kit sheet may very well have white printing beneath, Round 2 has done that.
