Great job Jon, watched the videos, also drove one of those on the farm when we were kids. But.....in all that you've posted, I haven't seen one word about what you used for the basic Ford truck kit??? And I haven't been able to find any 1 ton truck kits in 1/24-25 scale. Sure would appreciate it if you could turn me on to one of those kits. Tks Denny G, Sandwich, IL

That has been the norm for decades, but, it beginning to change, especially in 3d printing world.  The 1 1/2 ton in this thread is an old heavy resin piece done in the early 90's and later offered by AITM. Since then Dan Models of Romania has offered a very nice '62 Ford 1 1/2 ton highly detailed resin piece, often sells on ebay. Ford F700 1/25 scale - Cab Kit | eBay    There is also a 3d file available for printing a 1 1/2 ton from Roman. Ford F-Series F-600 Grain Truck 1963 3D Model by DriverUA (renderhub.com)
