Many thanks Carl, I’ve said it before, you are definitely the forums good will ambassador, always a positive comment from you! Hope to hammer on some more details today
Bullybeef Posted September 8, 2024 Author Posted September 8, 2024 Well the 34 wasn’t playing nice today so she gets sent to the shelf of shame. I have the interior and glass done, but the body doesn’t want to sit nicely on the frame, and I’ve only mocked it up like a dozen times, the only difference is the dash this time! 3
Zippi Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Looking good. Thats where I always have my trouble.

I’ll let it sit for a bit, see thats what I’ve learned since I started as a kid, if something doesn’t wanna fit brute strength and ignorance with a bfh aren’t gonna help, so instead of getting frustrated I’ll let it sit on the shelf of shame til I feel like I have a well thought out soloution! More soon. 1
espo Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 Build is looking good. Since the dash is the only change at least you know where to start looking on the fitment problem. 2

Bullybeef Posted September 17, 2024 Author Posted September 17, 2024 Well alrighty then! Managed to get the dash correction made, had to remove the steering column tach and open the notch in the dash a little bit to get everything to sit all nice n happy again. Body is now permanently fixed to the chassis and the final details are underway again. 5

customline Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 I'm really liking that color, Bil. It's a nice vintage look. Now get a face on 'er! 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 Lovin that stance and that baby blue. Lookin' sweet. 1

Bullybeef Posted October 1, 2024 Author Posted October 1, 2024 (edited) Winners and losers!!! I’m so stoked and choked all in the same breath. Have finished two old derelict builds. First is the 32 ford Sedan Delivery, I started this way back when I had lots of ambition, so this makes 13 of the 15 32 body styles. Next is this 32 3 window coupe I got as a well painted body on a poorly done chassis( lots of missing parts) so I added all the missing parts and cobbled a neat little sbf in shades of black. Now the kick in the pants( front section) I had a good head of steam so I figured why not finish the 34 3 window, so I get it all set up, install the grille, placed the rear deck lid handle, p/s door handle, then disaster struck as I was getting some glue out of my model master cement and it sputtered out a bubble which shot the money shot out on the door( insert choice expletives here), so that’s it I stopped right there and then, still have to install the headlights and adjust one radiator hose. ao what left to do but have a car show on my bench and call it a day. Two of the three will have thread started in under glass. Can you guess which one won’t hahaha Edited October 1, 2024 by Bullybeef Cheese! 7
BK9300 Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 (edited) Not fun! Will you be able to polish out the glue or need to do the whole door over? Edited October 2, 2024 by BK9300 1
