I'm going with the no bumper look on the rear. I've made a panel to fit, and I'm debating if I want to put some taillights in the panel or just use the stock lights. I need to check the Camaro exhaust tips to see if they will stick out as far as I would like. I may need to find some different ones. The Camaro exhaust had 4 exit pipes, but I cut them down to 2 to make the exhaust system fit better.

Like the tail panel. You mentioned exhaust. The picture it looks as if you just need a couple of short extensions. Try some aluminum tubing cut to length and they can be polished to look like chrome, or painted black depending on what look you're going for.

Thanks David. The Camaro exhaust system I'm using has tips with it, but they will be too short. I want them to stick out a little beyond the panel. I don't have any aluminum tubing but I think I can make some from Evergreen plastic tubing. I'll just need to paint them silver or chrome.

That will work as well. To make the ends look thinner, like metal, use your #11 blade. Just insert the blade in the end and turn gently to thin the tube from the inside.

Thanks. Had not thought of that, yes the tube is too think I will need to thin it down.

Made the exhaust extensions with the Evergreen tubing, but didn't like how they looked. So I had to make a trip to the big city today, stopped by HL and picked up some aluminum tubing. I'll try making some from it. Was also going to start painting today but my 15 year old Craftsman air compressor that I use with my air brush is giving me problems. So I decided to order a dedicated air brush compressor, should be here middle of next week.

Looking good James. You could file a couple of small semi-elliptic reliefs in that panel to clear the exhausts. Might give it a more custom look??

Thanks Greg. I thought about doing that, but they will be low enough without it.

Got a little shine on it. I'm satisfied with it.
