This is the MPC kit I started a while back and forgot to create a thread.  I have some of the engine assembled and the distributor wired.  The wheels are painted with Tamiya Titanium Silver and still need a little detailing.  I have some of the chassis painted and assemble but still need to glue together the cage.  I airbrushed the body this morning and it is a custom mix of Tamiya X-7 red and X-6 orange.  Still a ways to go on this one.

One of my favourite series of car kits. I grew up on a steady diet of asphalt late-models, and these MPC kits emulate them nicely. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Thanks Trevor.  We have a dirt circle track about 45 min from me but they mainly run Sprint cars.  Haven't been there in years though.

I got some work done on the chassis.  Still need to add the front shocks, fire extinguisher, and glue the cage on.

Looks good Bob. I've seen this kit at HL but never picked it up. Looks like a nice kit. Those headers are wild.

Thanks James.  I finished it this morning.
