Paul Payne Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Not a great paint job- fought me all the way, and I couldn't get the nose down where I wanted it. But after being started 35 years ago, it is finished and looks much like the original vision. Color is deep maroon, looks black in some of the photos- oh well, would have looked good in black too............... 2
Daverde Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Great job I’d love to see these kits re issued by Atlantis (if the tooling still exists)
Bugatti Fan Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Nice build, but the Duesie as envisaged by Exner really looks odd compared to some of his other designs. A pity that the 'Speedboat' attitude of the front end proved to be a problem. I think that Paul has done well with this restoration build.
satterwhite78 Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Has that mid sixties vibe and sophistacation to it, much what you would expect to see in a Peter Gunn movie. Fantastic looking!
