Not a great paint job- fought me all the way, and I couldn't get the nose down where I wanted it. But after being started 35 years ago, it is finished and looks much like the original vision. Color is deep maroon, looks black in some of the photos- oh well, would have looked good in black too...............

Great job I’d love to see these kits re issued 

by Atlantis (if the tooling still exists)

Nice build, but the Duesie as envisaged by Exner really looks odd compared to some of his other designs.

A pity that the 'Speedboat' attitude of the front end proved to be a problem.

I think that Paul has done well with this restoration build.

Has that mid sixties vibe and  sophistacation to it, much what you would expect to see in a Peter Gunn movie.
