hct728(Bob) Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 You made a neat job of it! Must have been hard shaping wood to those contours. I believe the wheels were plastic, and a bit of research tells me these may have been re-issued in some form over the years. So nice to see one done, and done well!

The wheels on this one are plastic. The wheels on the two under construction are cast metal. The lights and radiators for all of them are cast metal. The fenders and hood and seat backs are cardstock with some .01-inch plastic sheet. Thanks for the comments.
RSchnell Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Nice work! We don't see enough early cars being posted here!
1972coronet Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Super nice ! My grandfather had one (110 years ago at that) and used to call it, Every Morning Fix-it (haha) : "The tires were always popping-off the rims of that thing. I'd have to remount them all of the time !". Great work !
