Adding a little flair to Revell's snap together offering of the 2010 Camaro concept.

I built this out of the box a while ago and it made a really good looking Bumblebee. This time I'm going for a bit of a weekend track car look. I've rounded up some spare parts from other Camaro kits, some resin wheels and tires, and trying out 3D printed parts.

First big update is the rear bumper. I grafted the optional rear exhaust from the full detail Revell Camaro.

Literally just traced the new part as best I could and lopped it off.

The new one is a bit more aggressive!

Very little difference in shape, only a little putty and filler primer needed to blend it in.

First coat of black primer to check things out.

Front ground effects from the full detail Camaro as well to keep the style consistent.

Starting to modify the brakes to fit the new wheels.

Hopefully keep the momentum going on this build and get a finished hobby racer on the display shelf soon.

Comments and suggestions welcomed.

Had to shave quite a bit off the rear brake pieces to fit the wider wheels.

The kit seemed to hold the wheels a little forward. Since I cut off the registration pins I used this as an opportunity to correct the position of the wheels.

First mock up, ride height looks good.

Ryan, that is coming out one tasty Camaro! I am envious of your bodywork abilities. I can never seem to get my modifications to look so seamless and smooth.

Thank you! Other than some varying grits of sanding pads and a bit of patience these are what I used.

Was going to leave the bottom alone since it'll probably never be seen. But I did a quick mask job and I think with minimal effort a few details can be called out.
