forthlin Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Has anyone on here bought anything from them? I don't find any reviews on them & I want to be sure they're legit. They've got a couple models I'd like to get at a good price.
stitchdup Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 It feels a little off to me. i read the about us section and it mentions previous problems yet has a 2023 copywrite date. Theres nothing overly obvious but the website feels like a free template rather than a real business website which makes me think scam. A real business would put in more effort at being appealing to the eye.
forthlin Posted April 25, 2023 Author Posted April 25, 2023 Thanks for the input. I'd rather pay more on Hobbylinc or Scalehobbiest & know I'll get it.
BlackSheep214 Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 If it's too good to be true, it's a scam. Google the business...
bobthehobbyguy Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Exactly. Best thing is to research and see what you can find out. Recently there was a post about a website with cheap kits. Turned out to be a scam. Always ask the question does it make sense and are the prices just too good .Unfortunately there are a lot of thieves out to scam you out of your money. 1
Lunajammer Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 I don't see anything about it that really sounds my alarms other than it doesn't seem like a very big operation and has limited supplies, heavy on military and aircraft. Then again, you don't get to see what your shipping price is until after you enter all your shipping, email and contact info.
forthlin Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 I figured it was to good to be true & now I know. I usually buy from Hobbylinc or Scalehobbiest & that's where I'm going to stay. Thanks everybody.
JollySipper Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Model Roundup is a really good place to buy from........... They might be priced a little high, but they carry pretty much all the current stuff.
bobthehobbyguy Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 When that little voice says something doesn't seem right it's best to take notice. Otherwise you're bound to regret it and asking why didn't I pay attention to that feeling.
