Lindberg Dodge kit built outta the box with aftermarket decals.  As delivered the Super Stock cars were painted white with red interiors, Landy painted his car silver so I applied white "overspray" to the chassis first and then silver "overspray" to replicate Landy's  repaint, the engine compartment was left white.

Nice job on Landy’s “last stock wheelbase” drag car. I’m particularly impressed with the painting of the black raised wiring details within the engine bay, not an easy detail to paint.

well done, im interested in how you did the tire screws on the rear wheels? are they molded into the rim or did you add them?

The "screws" on the rear wheels are "dots" of silver paint. To create the "screws" I use what I believe to be called a stylus, it is a sculpting tool used in working clay.  They are available in various sizes at most craft stores. I dip the tool in sum paint and simply "dot" to create perfectly round screws or rivets. Takes sum practice to get the right touch but it's better than using a brush.
