I made this using a amt 73 mustang fastback I cut the roof off and made a new rear deck and a convertible boot and rims and tires from my parts boxes I painted the body krylon short cuts gloss ocean blue the interior and convertible boot is matte cobalt blue acrylic paint i had used the engine rims and tires and rear window from this kit on and in other models i have built
 

I have a song about ford that came out in 1973 playing in the background of the video

I bought one for my ex back in the day... It was a red convertible with a white top and interior...  It also had the Mach 1 stripping and ram air hood. The engine was a 351 clevland with a 2 bbl carb... That's how it came from the factory... A ram air 2 bbl motor...
