thatz4u Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 1948 Ford Custom Coupe, something like George & Sam Barris might have done in the early days...Lincoln tail lights, 41 Olds grille, Desoto bumpers, 50 Olds spinnner Caps & OHV 50 Olds V-8, bit of a tail dragger, ...comments welcome 7
happy grumpy Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Great work on the old Ford Al. The flames and the white wall make that blue pop.
Rattlecan Dan Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Would have been quite the item back in the day. Something the Fonz would have had to say "Ehhhh" about. Nice era capture. Great job.

espo Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 As you described, this has the early build style, that just doesn't go out of style. Dodge offered a shade of blue like this in the early '50's that was popular on many custom street cars of the day. The Olds gill and the "ripple bumpers" were often seen as well. Anyone owning a '55 Olds had to buy hub caps often. Great ventage look and finishes.

Joe Lange Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Great '50s/'60s street rod, Al. Looks like something right out of American Graffiti!
karbuildr Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Nothing like an old skool Kustom with flames. Good job.
The Modeling Hermit Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 That is neato keen! Sorry, I couldn't resist. I love it.
