We all know the mid and late 70's were a dark time for performance so our man here had to get creative. Instead of going the usual route and dropping in a big V8, he chose turbocharging. Along with a little custom body work and Plumb Crazy paint. So far he's pleased with the results

Great looking paint finish and color. You even got the "Dish Slot" mags that were so popular at the time. Might take a closer look at the wheels on my Avatar. nice looking engine details and the spoiler adds some character to the body.

I drove a Mercury Bobcat back in the day… appreciate the trip down memory lane. Your build turned out great!  I heard the Pinto kits are bears to build with ill-fitting parts.  Did you have any problems with yours?

Honestly not really. The glass fitment isn't the greatest due to being molded as one piece. I separated the front from the back and it helped to fit better. Being an old kit, the fit is nowhere near modern kits but it wasn't as bad as people say it is

My favorite Aunt had a Pinto.  Love your build.

My dad did too. Can't remember the year though
