ModelcarJR Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Its not a Joker Goon Car or a Gotham City Police Car but a 1977 Dodge Monaco. A full size, mid-level price range, grocery-getter. The exterior paint is Krylon Satin Avocado with Krylon Clear lacquer, masking tape vinyl top with Krylon Satin Ivory paint and the interior is Tamiya Dark Green with wood accents using Testors flat tan. Tires from the parts box and unable to find any full-size Dodge wheel covers, I used wheel covers from the 1962 Chevy Impala. Everything else is box stock except the steering wheel and column. The steering wheel was from the parts box and modified to look like a padded steering wheel an column was scratched from plastic tubing. Nothing added in the engine compartment. Thanks for looking! ? 7
1972coronet Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Splendid WH41N7A ! Those wheel covers look right at home on that bad boy - I was going to recommend the wheel covers in the Turtle Wax van , but those Chevy versions are perfect. Keep 'em coming !
Yeah Nah Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Yes! I've got the same kit and was committed to do the Gotham PD cruiser, but seeing this has maybe changed my mind......
karbuildr Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Great looking Dodge that looks like it came right out of a Dodge dealer showroom.
ModelcarJR Posted August 30, 2023 Author Posted August 30, 2023 Thanks, All! I appreciate your comments! ?
ncbuckeye67 Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 I love seeing a 4 door sedan! There aren't many out there in kit form.
Carmak Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 Nice clean build. Great choice of color. The vinyl top is perfect! Very cool.
