shoopdog
Just finished this old dive bomber up. Upper color is kit plastic with a matte clear coat and lower is Tamiya AS-16 Lt gray. I’m really enjoying these 1/48 scale WW2 planes. This kit has a lot of moving parts, many in which I was able to get to work. Folding landing gear, swinging bomb, open and close dive flaps and moveable tail gunner gun and swinging tail hook. Drilled out the 268 holes in the dive flaps, greatly improved the looks of it. Thanks for looking and enjoy. I forgot to add a bit of history on this plane. ”This SBD from the air group off the Wasp participated in attacks on Guadalcanal on August 7 1942. The roundels have been crudely enlarged by hand, while the stars had been left the original size” Edited September 3, 2023 by shoopdog Forgot the pics!

stavanzer
You really made that old Monogram SBD Sing. I remember when I built that kit around 1980, it was the best SBD around!
