Stripped what chrome that was remaining on the bumpers and will be painting them with chrome paint at work.

Cool project!? If you use the Revell chrom spray, then Pledge works really good as a clear coat. The part can be dipped with next to zero loss of the chrome shine.

This stuff…I imagine it would work as well over any brand of chrome paint?

I’ve heard of people using this one with excellent results.

I believe that Pledge has been discontinued for at least a year now, I think Quick Shine is gonna be the closest thing you can get, or at least it's the most commonly available.
