BIGTRUCK Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 At last got this one buttoned up. Together its 17 inches long. The 55 interior is mostly from the Revell 55 convertible, so are the bumpers and continental kit. Interior detail from AMT is pretty lame but it is old technology. Skirts are parts box as is the tonneau cover 2
happy grumpy Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Very nice take on the 55, I like what you've done with it.
espo Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Great looking body mods on the '55 and the early style boat is a good match with the El Camino body style.
Street Rod Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 Two super cool builds, great job on both!
ncbuckeye67 Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 That's really cool & period correct! I first thought the '55 was something I traded to a person on this forum, because I had one that I cut the roof off of mine & didn't like hoe it looked.
ea0863 Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Totally love both, such a 50's vibe! Thank you for posting
XYHARRY Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Nice work on the body mods there Ken, it looks like it started life as a nomad. The boat and trailer are very cool too, well done. Cheers, David. ??

Thank you... and yes it was a 55 wagon, that AMT kit comes with the roof and bed rails to make the ElCamino and the Revell 55 convertible parts fit pretty nice on this AMT kit too. 1
carrucha Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Cool combo. Nice to see a pickup version of this kit. I was thinking of doing the pickup conversion on this kit.
TECHMAN Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 First Class Build!!!!! Love the "early vintage vibe"!!!! DJ
