Just got back from the Hobby Shop and picked up some paint for the 36.  I was really looking for a dark green that was almost black but didn't see anything.  One of these colors is going on the 36 soon.  I also ordered a couple kits that are due out later this year.

I like the sea blue best.

I'm leaning in that direction Ken.

That a nice looking blue.  I think on this build I'm looking for that old school shine.  I appreciate it though man.

That blue coupe posted by Milo is very much like the one I saw, and thought was so nice. I wanted to say the owner had done his own touch by adding some cream-colored spokes, but it might have been rims like this. And this is closer to the paint I saw as well. Good luck on your version as well.

That is a nice colour.  Humbrol Midnight Blue is a ver close match for it.

It is a nice color.  I have a few cans of the Humbrol blue. I'll have to see if I have the Midnight Blue.

Yup.  I tried this enamel paint once before and wasn't impressed with the results.  It was probably just me.

Looks like you have everything under control for the 36 Ford.

Nice additions to your stash. Looking forward to your posts on these... Cheers from Nova Scotia.

Thanks man.  Yeah, waiting for the storms to clear so I can throw some paint on this 36.

Bob,  what color have you settled f or?  All those blues look great' !!!

I think I'm going with the XF-17 Sea Blue Carl.  At least that was my decision yesterday ?

The weather was pretty decent so I cleaned up the spray booth and got the top coat on.  This is the Tamiya XF-17 Sea Blue but I'm not seeing any blue just yet.  It's a Military color so it goes on flat.  Once I hit it with the Tamiya X-22 clear it'll shine line a new penny and hopefully get a little blue to it.

I agree with you Bob I don’t see any blue….

I know Carl.  The forcast show rain all week so I'm going to have to wait a while before I can get any clear on it.

Well guys...I made a mess of this one.  First off I was getting ready to shoot the clear on and I dropped the body.  I got that fixed and then the clear just didn't want to work with me today.  Not only that but where is the Sea Blue???.  I thought the clear would bring a little of the blue out.  This one is going to be seeing some Easy Off.  No saving this.
