Da interwebs is sometimes a cruel place where spiffy image links can disappear overnight. Did a Google search for "Corvette Camper" and turned up an oddball page that showed it, which also looks dubious to link to, so I got a screengrab of the image to upload to our nice safe site here.

I recently saw that image on FB, and that's what I was envisioning that link to have been.

I'm sure accommodations would have been cozy in that camper.  At least you wouldn't be sleeping a family of four in it.

Hmm. Take an MPC Open Road camper body, and a Jo-Han '66 Caddy Ambulance or hearse... Surprised I haven't seen one yet.

If you have a Hearse you dont need a camper. Plenty of room for 2 in the back. Rode in a 66 caddy hearse/ambulance from 1st exit in MI Datona beach 2 years in a row. Spring Break trip.

We better use the 59 that was just turned into a beach cruiser as they are cheaper.

The BBC Top Gear show used to have some interesting and often silly adventures with the three hosts. One time they were doing a spoof on car-based motor homes, and a few looked a lot like this creation.

One of my fav TG episodes!

The Land Rover unfolded into basically a multi-room bungalow. Sort of.

The Citroen was 3 stories tall. And kind of tippy.

The Lotus was...well...odd.

And I've seen the Lotus in person!

Is it AI? I'm on my phone and didn't notice. I never would have posted it if I realised that.

Looks a bit out of proportion; looks like an Ai rendering to me, but it is quite cool; neat idea  for someone to make a model like that

I posted a monochrome version of that image on page 1 of this thread.  Less garish.  🙂 I'm pretty sure now it's AI.

A friend of mine had a '64 Cadillac hearse back in the mid 70's. He had "nightmare" painted on the sides of it. We took it to Florida. They do have a lot of room in the back.
