Chromecop Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 I finished this "cartoon-styled" show rod, which I call T-rophy Hunter, a couple of weeks ago. I started the project in June/July 2022. Fully scratchbuilt frame. Body sectioned 1/5" and roof raised 4/5", rear wheels from a 1/20 scale Hard Hat Hauler, bench seat from Monogram 1940 Ford, drivers head from a PEZ-dispenzer, Blower from some Monogram showrod, dummy engine under the hood made from an old AMT 32 Ford V8, The hood from an old Monogram MACK showrod, headlights from a battery-operated toy beach buggy. front wheels I think from Monogram Fire Cracker. 7
espo Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 Great looking paint and detailing. Like the exaugurated proportions of the body and engine, not to mention the tires. 1
karbuildr Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 Now, that is very different. Very cool, gotta like it for sure. Nicely done. 1
