Volzfan59 Posted April 24, 2024 Posted April 24, 2024 I started building models when I was around eight years old. Built until I was in my mid 30's. Always been into fishing, mainly largemouth and smallmouth bass and trout. I was also building and racing my own 1:1 stock cars, plus work and kids. Something had to give so I gave up models and eventually gave up racing. I retired at 53 in 2013 from my career, law enforcement and fished as much as I could. Two years ago, my mother in law bought a AMT Modified Stocker kit, '64 Fairlane because she remembered me building them while my wife and I were dating. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. Now split my time between model building and fishing. Retirement is a good thing!
