Bronzekeg Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 I'll be working on this kit next. plans call for turquoise paint with whitewall tires. it'll be fenderless with a cream interior and chrysler engine. c&c welcome as usual and thanks for looking. 3
FoMoCo66 Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Cool. Are you going to use bias ply tires? I think they look better than the kit supplied radials and they are more period corect to the 60s.
Flatout Posted May 3, 2024 Posted May 3, 2024 Sounds good Ken…based on your other Rod builds I’m looking forward to seeing what you do this time.

Bronzekeg Posted May 3, 2024 Author Posted May 3, 2024 the paint I'm using are lacquers. testors tropical turquoise and wet look clear, and tamiya clear blue. out of the can the testors turquoise is too green for my taste so I'm going to give it a coat of clear blue to have it lean more towards the blue range. the spoon shows the color painted this way. thanks all for the input and comments. also pictured are the tires that I'm going to use. 3
espo Posted May 3, 2024 Posted May 3, 2024 The color combination sounded a little strange at first, but the spoon proves just how good it looks.
