Gotta love the monte, well up to 73. Had 81 years ago. And blue is a great choice of colors or black. There are some nice cars made after the 70s but noyhing compares from the 1st ford off the line to 70s. Now they all look alike,  they have little to no chrome, and everything is over priced and tons of lemons.

Trying to finish up the interior still need to finish up making a roll bar and installing racing harnesses and touching up the the things that show up in pictures. Slowly trudging on

I agree with David , great looking interior and perfect dash.  My dad bought a new 72 from Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago.  I really liked that car"..

Looking good!  Where are those rear rally wheels and rear tires from?

I found them on eBay surfing for parts the rims are resin cast and the slicks are pad printed M&H Racemasters with the choice of 3 different sizes

Do you recall which ebay seller makes the tires?

I looked them up in my purchased items they came from rockeys performance I tried looking them up(rockeys where gone) I could only find 5 pairs from other sellers under 1/25 m and h racemaster slicks and they were the super wides you can also try 1/25 racing slicks.  I do not believe that they were reproduction just must of had different sets of kit tires

Try 1/25 slicks there are several different sets of the thinner M&H slicks

Finally completed the interior for now wouldn’t you know I had to relocate the tach to clear the windshield the roll cage had to be redone(made from part spurs)the rounded corners had to be squared so you could roll up the back windows what a learning curve now maybe I can start on the engine compartment

Now if I could just get excited about the body I just don’t care for the blue thinking maybe green or bronze and doing away with the body moldings I just can’t see starting anything else until I am happy with the body

It looks good!

Why not build the model itself as a WIP project car?

Maybe leave the rear quarter in primer and use the various colors to represent panels that have been replaced with parts from other cars. Add some more primer with some Bondo spots...
