Pierre Rivard Posted July 8, 2024 Author Posted July 8, 2024 A few hour went into this one component, a fuel filler cap. It's a bit over scale but that's about as small as I can handle with my fat clumsy fingers 7
TarheelRick Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 This is an absolutely lovely build, some very nice detail work. Love Graham's mustache. 1 1
kensar Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Very nice detail work on the fuel filler. Doesn't look out of scale at all. 1
Pierre Rivard Posted July 11, 2024 Author Posted July 11, 2024 Final elements have been completed, fabricated rearview mirror aero shield and adding the competition style wind screens. This project is done! 4
MarkJ Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Been without power since Monday from Hurricane Beryl. Finally got it back last night at 8:30. It has been very tough not having air conditioning especially at night when you're trying to sleep. The fuel filler and wind screens look perfect. Have i missed the final pictures? I will go check in the show room for this category.
Nacho Z Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Pierre, I know that I am a little late to the party, but I just went through the entire 4 pages of this WIP and I have to tell you how much I enjoyed seeing this come together. It was kind of like binge watching your favorite TV show. Instead of watching one episode a week, I watched it all in one big bite! Fantastic work, Pierre, you should be proud! 1
Straightliner59 Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Beautiful work, Pierre! The fuel cap is absolutely exquisite!

Very little detailing with this one but I believe enough to give it a bit of realism.

It's a bit oversized but looks well integrated when looking at the build as a whole. It's following at all your fabrication that encourages me to try some of it. 1

It's always nice when someone gets some good use from something we've shared!
