G,day from an Aussie modeller

Hi everyone, 

I’m Stuart. Like most modellers, I started the hobby as a kid building cars and WW2 planes. I started back into it some 10 years ago as a means of distraction after my wife was diagnosed with a serious illness . My enjoyment of the hobby flooded back and soon I’d purchased an airbrush and many paints and tools. After building enough WW2 fighter planes to start a small airforce, I decided recently to turn my hand to US muscle car models starting with a 69 Yenko Camaro. It turned out better than I thought it would and now l have around 30 or so 1/24 and 1/25 kits in the stash. I’ve seen some awesome builds displayed on the forum and look forward to chatting with other members and hopefully picking up some tips to help me improve. If I’ve got things right, there should be an image of my first build here.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and kind comments on the Camaro. I’m in the process of finishing my current project and will definitely post some pictures.

To answer your question Cool Hand, yes mate, I have the 1/24 DDA LJ XU-1 Torana kit in the stash and I’m hoping they release a Valiant Charger kit in the near future. Cheers, Stuart.
