A little more work on the interior and it should be done.  I got the body prepped this morning and got it in primer (Tamiya White Surface Primer).  Looks like rain for the next week so no telling when I can get some paint on the body.

Looking good Bob!

Thanks Roger.  Looks like rain for the next few days so I'm on a holding pattern for any painting.

Well...the weather took a turn for the better and the temperature was about 82° and the humidity was at 48% so I got after it.  I got 4 coats of paint on the body and this afternoon I'm hoping to shoot some clear urethane over this Splash Paints Twister Orange.

That orange looks great. Glad the weather turned for you.

Thanks Kyle.  Looks like the weather is going to hold.  Not sure if I have enough of the clear urethane left but we'll see here shortly.

I had a very good day of painting for once.  The weather was not perfect but it was good enough.  I got the Splash Paints 2K Urethane Clean on and it turned out pretty nice.  I just had enough for 3 good coats of clear.  I'm a happy camper.

Good looking orange paint job.    K S Pittman maybe?

Thanks.  I looked for some K.S. Pittman decals but could not find them in 1/25 scale.  I didn't even check to see what a custom set would cost.  Probably out of my pay grade.

I have a 1/25th scale K S Pittman set from Slixx. It had decals for 3 different '40 Willys versions.  I used one version, you are welcome to the rest. Let me know if you are interested.

The body has been wet sanded and polished and doors test fitted and glass installed.  Decals, rear bumper, steering column is on the agenda for tomorrow.
