karbuildr Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 This is not a bad kit at all. It goes together nicely, just about everything fits well, and it looks good when finished. Is my build 100% factory stock? Nope. Do I care? Nope. I could have added more detail and I actually screwed up the body script decals by using the wrong ones placed incorrectly. Do I care? Nope. I had fun building it and painting it and adding what detail I did. After all, that's what it's all about to me, enjoying what and how I build something, and it's an easy kit to build. I like easy. ? It's painted in Bolero Red with a non-stock tan interior. The black stripes came with the kit, along with white ones as well. The current issue of this kit adds silver stripes in addition to black and white. Thanks for looking. 12
XYHARRY Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Really smooth paint David, very nice Camaro. Well done. Cheers, David M.??
nyguy Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Well Done and Well Said..... It's all about the "enjoyment".

TransAmMike Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Great job David, and that paint job is soooo smooth. What paint is it?
Rattlecan Dan Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Very tight and clean. Great-looking build.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Super sharp build. Great paint and trim. It even has a 302 decal on the air cleaner.
espo Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Great looking paint color and smooth finish. The body trim all looks cleanly done. I had forgotten about the unique air cleaner attached to the cowl.
DJMar Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Great work on that old classic kit. Very clean build. Looks fantastic!

It's a 67 GM color, originally purchased from a now defunct company called Rainbow Products. It's an acrylic lacquer, with their clear applied and polished.
karbuildr Posted August 10, 2024 Author Posted August 10, 2024 Donato, Robert, David, Michelle, DJ, kelson and Danno thank you for the compliments.

You also left the AMT '67-'68 Camaro body year conversion wing vents off, which adds to a much cleaner look. Bitchen '67 Camaro Z/28, David!
STU111 Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 That is a really good looking Camaro, very tidy. ??

I thought the cowl version was very cool so I chose that option. 1
