DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 That is a real beauty! I remember seeing a lot of those C-Cabs on the road, even worked on one or two of them. The shifter felt like a boat oar stuck in a barrel of grease.? 2
leafsprings Posted September 22, 2024 Author Posted September 22, 2024 (edited) Thanks for the positive comments! After looking closely at the built tractor, something didn't quite look right for me. According to the Ford C series brochure, factory wheelbases are listed at 99" 111" 135" +. The AMT kit represents the 111" tractor, not the shorter 99" which I think is more appropriate for a city tractor. The wheelbase is now down to 99". Edited September 22, 2024 by leafsprings 2
RoninUtah Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Great C series workin’ truck, I like your choice of wheels. First civilian tractor I ever drove was a Ford C series! 3
Biggu Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Looks great. Nice job and very realistic……Had a friend of mine drive one. After his pretrip the cab didn’t quite lock. All was ok until he had to stop on a hill facing down and the cab lifted forward to full tilt with my friend’s face jammed into the windshield and he couldn’t move until help came. Hilarious to everyone except him! 2
