this is a Revell 1969 Shelby gt500 it was a bagged kit that i got a yard sale last weekend for a dollar I did a rim swap with ones from my parts boxes cause the original ones were gone I had to curbside it cause I used the engine in my 73 ford Gran Torino sport and i added a new set of pedals from my parts boxes
i also deleted the lower air dam rectangle running lights
i did a right hand drive dash conversion cause I think the right hand drive layout is the most logical layout and design
i painted the body rust-oleum 2x gloss candy pink
I painted the interior a base coat of rust-oleum 2x gloss white and then a a top coat of rust-oleum 2x matte clear
i guess i should have not bothered using the white shelby gt500 stripes as the barely show up on the candy pink body

I like the stripes like they are, subtle, but there.

Thank you
I guess they are kinda like ghost stripes

Nice build, although i would have chosen green or orange for a car of this era.

Now a side question to all: would it suffice to no to apply the black hood stripes and chin spoiler to convert the upcoming Revell '70 kit to a '69 model?

Thanks in advance.
