iamsuperdan Posted January 16 Posted January 16 For literally months now, Ray's website has had a message regarding print times and when orders were going to the printers. It's right there on the decal home page, the first thing you see. I ordered some decals back in November, knowing full well that they wouldn't go to print until January. And in my confirmation email: Quote Your decals will be printed with the upcoming print run of January 1st, 2025. After processing, it will usually take roughly a month or two for the decals to be printed in the UK and shipped back for handling and packaging(the timeline is a little unpredictable unfortunately). You will receive a separate email confirming that it has been shipped with a tracking link then. There's no excuse for not knowing about a wait. 3

chryslerjunkandstuff Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I mean, the decal sheets that Rays offers are second to none AND priced modestly! Naturally, a great many people wanna get hands on em.. And, so far as I can tell, there's Ray, and one other fella, and that's the extent of their operation.. Those factors combined, not even mentioning the print company, add up to : EXPECT THERE TO BE A WAIT TIME personally, my only complaint about em, is really a non-issue, which Ray will probably get around to eventually, and that is I wish he had more Indy Pace Car sets available.. Big takeaway - You WILL wait a while, but when yer order does show up, you'll be blown away, and curse because you didn't order MOAR! 2

But... when the rep in the states has been telling that they are come.. and tell you they will be in you hand and ..that date passes by, the next day passes by.. Was told "no problem,you will have the decals to put on for the NNL" That was December 17th... its now January 29th. The decals were ordered wayyyyy before that.. Got a replay with nothing but bla bla bla.. So.. tell me about the wait, when the US rep TELLS YOU, YOU WILL HAVE THEM IN TIME.. He won't even reply to messages.

Sounds to me like a US rep issue, not a Ray issue. I've only ever dealt direct.

Ya know what I'm tired of? Seeing people join up here not to participate in the forum but for the sole purpose of complaining about some vendor or another and then disappear when they don't magically get any satisfaction from their complaints. 8

I'm still here.. I can't wait forever. . So I went another route on my current build... Hopefully I can finish this build with the other resources that we're given to me. As others stated. His decals are second to none. Just a shame he can't keep up with demand!!!!

Well it's good to see that you stuck around and hope you can find this place interesting enough to continue to participate. I really hope you contacted Ray though and tell him of your experience with his "middle man". He really is a good guy and I doubt he'd appreciate how you were treated.

I sent him an order thru his email address January 12th, received it this past Saturday. Funny how that works, he will send you your order oyt right away, but his US rep can not, and does not communicate 🤔
vamach1 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 This is the message posted on the Facebook page of Rays Kits decals North America on 27 January. Stay tuned. This weekend Ray is doing his best interpretation of Edward Scissorhands to get an order shipped to me on Monday. I sent him a message this morning asking if he can get me an itemized list of what will be in that order, or to call and dictate the list to me. That way I can update all pre-paid customers. We will be shipping this order by FedEx International Express, which is 3-5 day delivery. When we ship on Monday morning, I usually get these by Wednesday or Thursday, but IT AIN’T CHEAP! Once I have packed and shipped all pre-paid orders, and pulled aside all reserved decals, I will post pictures here of what are left. For those of you who did not pre-pay, expect a PayPal Invoice as soon as I confirm that your decals are definitely on the way. Stay tuned for updates. Once I have a tracking number for the box, I will actively follow it on its journey & keep you guys informed. Thanks!
vamach1 Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Per Rays Decals of North America Facebook page today. If you pre-paid for your order AND all of your decals have arrived, you should have gotten a USPS Tracking email by now. 16 of the oldest orders were completed and taken to the Post Office just before they closed at 2:00 pm CST. Since I got home, I completed 13 additional orders, which will go to the Post Office first thing when they open in the morning at 8:00 am CST. Stay tuned as you will FINALLY be getting your decals. If you did NOT get an email from USPS, that means that one or more of your decals has not reached me yet. Ray is planning to pack and ship another box for me Sunday night & we hope FedEx can pick up on Monday morning. These would likely reach me on Wednesday or Thursday, and this process will start all over. There is also a chance that he may need to send one final box the following Monday. Once I get these I will quickly ship all completed pre-paid orders. Next step is pre-reserved orders. I have pulled aside all applicable decals and packaged them. I will reach out to all affected customers to finalize their order and send a PayPal Invoice. The sooner these get paid, the sooner they ship! After I complete this process, I will begin to post pictures of available decals here on the Facebook Page. I will give the same advice I always do, if you see something you want, PM ME RIGHT AWAY!!! Once folks see the actual decals they sell out quickly almost every time. Stay tuned for updates!
vairnut Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) $200 order in August with no updates or response. Spoke personally with the US rep at DAAM last fall and told he follow up and get back to me. Hope to get my stuff but 6 months with no contact not looking good. Edited March 31 by vairnut
