Brizio Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 I start a collaboration with Aoshima, and they send me this kit to build. The kit is in 1/24 scale, and it's super nice, no falshing, the parts fit perfectly. Last year I built the Aventador, also made by Aoshima and designed by LB★Works. That's why I say that these kits are very nice designed and fun to build. The kit can be built without painting it, since the casting is nice. In fact they offer the possibility to use waterslide decals or sticker. Also the car height can be adjusted, altough slammed looks great! here the kit, planning to build it stock. 1
Brizio Posted September 23, 2024 Author Posted September 23, 2024 I spray the primer on body. I did not decide if paint it like the boxart, or a different color. I like the green color...
Brizio Posted October 7, 2024 Author Posted October 7, 2024 First coat of paint for the interior. I'm thinking to go two tone, didn't decided yet. 1
Brizio Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 (edited) Litte update on this build. I was looking to wrap the body with some specific decals. That seems to be very hard to find everywhere. After few hours I found them on a companty website. This company make high-quality multimedia model kit, it is pretty well known if yo build recent cars. Anyway, did my order. Few days later I start to contact them because I did not have any uptade from them. Little later I check the website and the decals are sold out. I ordered 2 sheets of decals, maybe the last two, I though. Later I got an email from paypal saying that this company refund me the money. Good that I got my money back, but not for the decals part. After spending more hours searching on the internet and few phone calls. I found them in Belgium! At Dominomodel.com. the store has a massive quantity of models and supply, they also sell cigars and spirits. In less than a week I had my declas. Here the car with the decals. Since I'm going to wrap it, I had to tape the whole body and cut each part of the car, hood, doors, fenders, fenders flare etc... To use them a template and cut the decals. To save time I could have tape only half of the car, and use the tape to cut both side. Edited December 31, 2024 by Brizio 2
Brizio Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Painted the wheels and installed tires and put decals. The kit has the rim devided in two parts and both parts are molded in a semi gloss black. I gecided to paint it gold and chrome. I had to use glowes to not leave finger prints on the chrome. Wheels and tires installed on the chassis, and moke up the body. Looking good! 6
NOBLNG Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Beautiful work detailing those rims and tires!😎 1
Nacho Z Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I am not sure how I missed this thread, but I am glad I found it. I really like the LB Works cars. I know that they aren’t for everybody, but I like and have a good number of the kits. Yours is looking great. I’m looking forward to seeing more updates!

Thank you John! I like the LB Works car too, they are deifferent and a cool subject to build.
Brizio Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 Here the dashboard, The instructions call for a two tone paint job on the dash, but I went with one color, I don't like the two tone idea. 2
beeRS Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Looks great. I’m looking forward to seeing how the body wrap goes. It’s a lot of work. Interior decals look cool.

Brizio Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 (edited) Here the Murcielago body wrapped with the Bape camo design. Everything went pretty smoth and it toke me less than 2 hr to put all the decals. Makeing the tape template helps a lot, above all on a car with this body design. Still need to do the rear spoiler. Maybe On the real spoiler I'm going to do the center piece in carbon fiber, and the side with camo wrap... Just to break up all the green. Didn't decide yet. Now I will let it rest for a couple of days and after I will add the rest of the decals. Edited January 3 by Brizio 3
2tymevet Posted January 4 Posted January 4 2 things where or how did you get that camo wrap? and I have the 1st version that I plan on doing the DDE guys from YouTube theme
beeRS Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Nice work with the decals. It would take me a lot longer than 2 hours to do that! Do you need to spray a clear over the decals?
dino246gt Posted January 4 Posted January 4 WOW! That camo is wild! Can't wait to see the Murchie finished, quite a cool model!

I look everywhere around the world and after a "bad" experience. I found this place that had only 2 set of decal, and of course I bought both. They are nice kit to build. This one is the second one that I build, the first one that they gave me was the Huracan LB★Works Ver.1. On this one I add a set of photo etch, from a different Aoshima kit. It gives a nice detail. I like that they gave you two set of decals too. I'm building quite a bit of kits from Aoshima, and really like the decals for the interior of the cars. The wrap very well. Good luck with your! 11 hours ago, beeRS said: Nice work with the decals. It would take me a lot longer than 2 hours to do that! Do you need to spray a clear over the decals? Thank you Sonny! I'm a fast builder! Make the template helps a lot in the process. The cool thing is the section or panel of the car are kind of small. It make it easy to place the decals. Yes I will clearcoat teh car once I will add the other set of decals. 2 hours ago, dino246gt said: WOW! That camo is wild! Can't wait to see the Murchie finished, quite a cool model! Brizio Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 Shark! Shark! The shark mouth decal is added, now the A Bathing Apo camo is complete. Also added all the parts to the body, engine headlights, taillights, windows... The only thing missing to call it completed is the rear spoiler and the engine cover. 2

The camo design is a partnership that LB Works did with Bape, you can see the gorrilla head on it. They use this camo desing on several cars. And also recently dey did a set of 4 cars. No a lambo tho. That's why I did. Cheers
