Mercury M-100

I got this a few months ago and finally got around to building it.  I was pretty excited to see it when it was announced.  I never thought I'd see a kit of a Canadian vehicle, let alone a Canadian Mercury truck!  The kit itself isn't too bad.  My only problem being the installation of the clear pieces.  Which they tell you to do from the inside.  The windshield needs to be placed in from the front.  The fit to the frame is also a little hard to get right.  Installation of the lettering for the decals kinda sucks too.  Each letter is its own decal.  Not fun to put on and I lost the M for the hood.  Which is quite small.  Over all though, it is a very nice kit and a welcome addition to my collection.

Great looking paint finish and two-tone treatment. I think Moebius was wise to offer the Mercury version of the Ford pickup with no more than what they had to do to change it.

I'm not a huge fan of Moebius kits overall, but I think it's cool that they tooled this one up.
