Revell and Monogram

Are the Revell and Monogram 1955 Ford F100 pickups one and the same? Thank you.

Yes.  The Revell issues are somewhat changed from the early Monogram issues (interior parts, wheels/tires) but the basic truck is the same one.

OK. Thought I found some glass that would work in my Monogram 55 Ford F100 street machine kit but it's from the Foose kit. Thank you guys.

Foose pickup is a '56, totally different windshield on top of the '55 and '56 kits being different scales.

YesMark. And I see the Foose has no vent windows. And the Monogram 55 has the glass one piece. Which works better for me. Shaky hands.

David, did you check the part guys on eBay?  Your kit is one I hover never owned..

I've been checking eBay every day Carl. The one listed are 2 piece so I think they are from the Foose kit. Hard to tell from the photo if the vent windows are attached. I'll keep looking LOL.

what about glass form the '55 panel delivery? I don't have either to check, but at least the front end looks similar.

I have a '55 Panel gluebomb, just checked but the glass is welded in. I can confirm though, that the glass is the same for the pickup and the panel.

The Foose version is a 1956 and has a modified body, so it's not possible to build stock.
