eran_k Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 During the last couple of weeks iv'e been working on designing and building my own version of a belly tank racer\lakester. it's a bit simplistic in couple of areas (curbside, wheels are not very authentic) but never the less i'm proud in my creation. btw, the numbers and gold stripe are hand painted on purpose. 7
Dave B Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 That looks good Eran, it's always nice to get a printed model looking good. Dave B 1
Chinacar Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Making stuff in 3D is the next level. It's about as big a step as when models went from wood to styrene. Good for you. Well done! I've bought a 3D printer this year and just started using it. Nice model by the way...;) 1
Jim B Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Neat little racer. Dangerous as hell, but pretty cool. 1
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Very sharp machine. Fun to see. Way to go. 1
Bainford Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Good looking belly tanker. You really captured the period vibe and simplicity of the 1:1s. Well done. 1
TonyK Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 I like it! The real cars were simple looking and you captured the exact look. Nice job! 1
