Jack L Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Nice . You building the transporters to go with them ?

I would really like to but aside from the rough cost of nearly $200.- bucks for kits and supplies plus no present room to display . Not to even thinking about the build time . Their our no immediate plans to. I should probably think about purchasing the kits for that build while they are readily available.
Old Buckaroo Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 I always look forward to your subjects! For a transport consideration - The 1/25 USPS Ford C900 combined with the MPC 1/25 72 chevy ramp truck ... Ive been meaning to do that combo for years.
TarheelRick Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Looking forward to these builds, big fan of the Ford Race Team.

spkgibsonfirebird Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 What are you using for the decals? I found these on eBay. I was thinking about doing the same thing, I have this started, And I have the ramp truck based off of the Hostess delivery truck and Ford LN 8000 I combined both kits so I can make the delivery truck out of the LN 8000 and the ramp truck out of the Ford C 600 kit. That's the kit your going to want. 2

A word to the wise here his decals have no white undercoat so you may want to get a sheet of the slixx Hubert platt decals for the ford deck lid insignia.

M W Elky Posted December 12, 2024 Author Posted December 12, 2024 Torino engines done . I added the square tube to the air cleaner from some stock I had on the work bench 3
dragcarz Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 What a cool project, this is gonna be cool!
M W Elky Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 Torino chassis and window glass complete . The side windows were made from a template that I cut from card stock actually part of an old model box. Then traced it out on a sheet of 0.10 clear sheet styrene. I always use tayima masking tape to hold the windows in and I let the glue set up for a full 24 hours before removing the tape. As for glue I like the testors clear parts cement . 1
