Thanks for finding and posting this. That radical kustom '58 Ford must have been something to see driving in traffic! After 12:40 the video shows a fellow with revolvers doing some quick-draw shooting at cans -- who was he?

No clue who was shooting, but that radical Ford Kustom started out as a Ranchero that had been wrecked at least once and at one point had sequential turn lights almost a decade before Shelby put those on his GT500. From what I remember reading, those turn signals had caused such a ruckus that the cops nearly arrested them!

Thanks for the memories. Based on the yellow license plates this must have been taken prior to 1963 when California went to the black background and yellow lettering. Liked the Pin Striping and the dummy Spotlights.

Ah yes, the curse of the easy-access-to-all-kinds-of-cool-information-age. 

if I had a dollar for every internet rabbit hole I've gone down like that, I'd have a lot more dollars.
