Fat Brian Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 While not a fan of the Fauxtina look in general it is about the fastest way I know to get a kit from the box to the shelf. I've only built one other kit this year and needed to get another one on the shelf. I started with the most recent reissue of the Monogram 39 Chevy. A Monogram 78 Corvette donated its engine and suspension to the build. The tunnel ram is from the Monogram 57 Nomad and the wheels are ebay specials. 10
espo Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Like the destressed looking paint finish. Clean looking trim. Like the stance along with the wheels & tires. 1
karbuildr Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Very cool build, nice and low with a surprise under the hood. 1
SpikeSchumacher Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 That's pretty cool, Brian! I like the big red wheels on it. 👍👍 1
Zippi Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Very kewl patina look on the 39 Chevy Panel. Love those red wheels. Nicely done. 1
