stavanzer Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 I've a Monogram (now Atlantis) 1926 Mack Dump Truck. I want to build an updated 1930's version with Pneumatic Rubber tires and the distinctive Mack 6 spoke wheels. I think AITM (the Late Dave Natale)offered them, but I know that he, and AITM are no more. Does any body have any suggestion's about sourcing a new set of these rims and tires? 3D printing may be the best way to go, nowadays, but I'd be happy with resin too. Thanks for any help. Cheers, Alan Alexis
ChrisR Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 I have the same question. Looked at Cults 3d before and could not find something that I thought is suitable.
NOBLNG Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 I have the log hauler kit so I’m interested to see what you guys come up with.😎
Redisetta Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 I can’t remember which kit it was from , but I used tires and wheels from a big rig kit that I had laying around. Worked for me. 4 1

Maybe that should change...... 11 hours ago, Redisetta said: I can’t remember which kit it was from , but I used tires and wheels from a big rig kit that I had laying around. Worked for me. Awesome Build! I really the the 1920-30 colours you chose. The Tires look like AMT Tires. 1
Old Buckaroo Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 (edited) I still have a bit of AITM tires and such, I will dig them out tomorrow and see what all there is. Edited December 12, 2024 by Old Buckaroo 1
Bugatti Fan Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 I was unaware of AITM not being around any more. Like many cottage industries, so dependent on an individual keeping it going. The company made some really nice resin parts, so hopefully the moulds might be bought by someone.
plastic trucker Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Have you checked with ST Supply or Sourkraut's Truck Models? They both have AITM Mack wheels. But I don't know about the thirty's style tires. you could always ask them. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Probably some good info in this thread, but I haven't looked at all of it... 1
