tim boyd Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 An image of a 1/1 scale 1935 Ford Panel Delivery in the current issue of the GoodGuys mag (pg. 74) reminded me of my own mid 1930s (1937 in this case) Panel Delivery project in 1/25th scale. This was basically the one-time only release (I think) of a factory stock 1937 Ford Panel from the Revell-Monogram team. I combined it with some of the running gear and engine upgrades found in the later Ravell "2 in 1" version of their 1937 Ford Pickup kit. I set it up with Tamiya purple paint and painted the Revell Midget kit (one of the best kits of recent years, IMHO) to match it. Here are a few views....and thanks for checking it out. TIM 2
Ken Car-Fanatic Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Now that is kool! I seen pictures of the kit before in the past, but I've never seen one. Great to see this build & very nicely done!
espo Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Beautiful looking paint colors and finishes on both the panel and the midget. The wheels and tires look great with the stance. I agree with you on the midget kit in both the Offy engine and the Flathead. The nerf bars are really delicate.
Bainford Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Very nice, Tim. Cool little race combo. Love the stance of the panel.
stavanzer Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Wonderful Set of Kits, Tim! Clean, Simple, yet Eye Catching! Good Show.
