truckabilly Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Been a while since I posted anything here. I hope I don´t mess up anything. I started to work on KW Narrow Nose model in 1/25 scale. It´s a limited series of 20 kits I believe. Got one of them. The kit contains a complete model of the truck. No donnor kit is needed. There are PE parts in the box as well as resin and 3D printed parts. Plus a clear sheet for windows, vinyl hoses, painted PE dash board and water slide decals. So far I cemented the parts into sub-assemlies that I will paint later. Thanks for looking Jarda 4
Gary Chastain Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Never seen this kit before, interested in the build. 2
BK9300 Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Like Gary, I've never heard of this. Sounds like a very rare kit, and it sure is detailed. Very nice progress so far! 2
Biggu Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Oh yeah ! Correct brake chambers and a WIG WAG!!! That is so cool and an often overlooked detail. I always wanted one of these kits but never got the opportunity. I will be watching this beauty come together. Exciting 2

carsntrucks4you Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Nice to see that some had started the NeedleNose from Strato Models. I hope that I can see the finished model in Jabekke. May be mine will be finished then as well. 2

I don’t understand your reply 😂 Me too the wig wag was a good piece of kit. Its a Canadian military expression ‘piece of kit’. We used to say that about our gear, be it personal gear or equipment ….Sorry,…days of old kick in sometimes. I was talking 1:1 too Edited December 24, 2024 by Biggu 1 1
gotnitro? Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 (edited) Great looking parts, should yield a fantastic looking build Ok I'll bite..whats a Wig Wag, and how's it work Edited December 26, 2024 by gotnitro? 1
Biggu Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 2 hours ago, gotnitro? said: Great looking parts, should yield a fantastic looking build Ok I'll bite..whats a Wig Wag, and how's it work It is an old school low air warning device. An air valve mounted in the cab above the windshield with an arm and a paddle. Something like a at spoon. If there is low air the ‘spoon’ will drop down in front of the driver ( wagging back and forth ….. hence wig wag) warning of low air and to pull over asap and get it checked and repaired. Today here in Canada we are mandated with TWO low air warnings, a light on the dash, and an audible warning as well. Wig wags are out dated by todays standards and mandates. I always thought they worked well. Mechanical rather than electrical. 2
