Built this to approximate Norm Warling’s car.  Added tach, roll bar, shifter, turbo 200 trans, 68 Firebird headers, aftermarket AFB carbs, hood scoop, reinforced rear control arms, side windows, no primer just Tamiya TS black paint, aftermarket wheels sprayed with Revell chrome paint, cast scratch built front tires and Hasegawa chrome trim.  Further details are in the WIP thread.  Comments, questions, criticisms are always welcomed and encouraged.

Now that is one wicked Pontiac. I love it, The black paint makes it look sinister. Well done, Ron.

Nice rear tires on this build. Are they aftermarket?

Thanks, Nathan and Trevor.  The slicks started with the amt 9” Goodyears.  The front tires are essentially scratch built, molds made and cast.   The wheels are much modified aftermarket ones.  A lot of time was spent on the tires and wheels.  The WIP I posted spells it out pretty good.  As shown in the WIP, the paint job turned out really good.  Unfortunately, I put some scratches in it by polishing it.  I must have got some grit in it, and, on a black paint job, that was all it took.  Lesson learned.
