Be warned: this affliction is almost impossible to cure, I'm afraid... What I meant by the reference to GM's Fiero was that the B-pillar on your creature reminds me of my own 1/1 Fiero SM4 back in the 80's. Before they came with the fastback V6 GT. Nostalgia... CT It’s a good affliction to have isn’t it Claude. As you always say, “hours of fun with styrene”. Sorry Claude, yes, it definitely has a Fiero style look to it. You are EXTREMELY knowledgeable when it comes to both 1:1 cars, and these scaled down versions. I was wondering if maybe you saw “a little something” that you thought came from a Fiero. Your kit bashing has always been an inspiration for me to push the boundaries a bit, so thank you sir.

I have several screen shots from your innovative builds saved in my inspiration folder. In fact, the pivoting hood prop on this build, is a variation of one you shared on a build. Possibly the Subaru cannonball car? I’ve done a few of those now, including on my recent 71 Olds, which had a magnet to hold it in place. So thanks for that!! Appreciate your comment very much. That's what I like about forums such as this. Yes Russell and I are friends, and I love taunting him about a few things, keeps the blood flowing you know. 1

Hopefully I’ll get the chance to see you guys in person at a model show sometime. Maybe dinner and an adult beverage after… 2

Great job on this (2thumsup) Haha!! I’ll definitely take the blame! I’ve already said it, but I sure do like thinking that I give others inspiration. So many builders on this forum have inspired me, and answered questions that have made me better. If I can give a tiny fraction of that back, it’s very satisfying. Bruce, I look forward to seeing what you create from those light bulbs going off. Please PM me if you get rolling on a WIP… What bodies are you thinking? Ohhh… thanks for the 2 thumbs!
