Phildaupho Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Deuce Days in Scale is a scale model car show the same day that the cars of Northwest Deuce Days - the largest gathering of ’32 Fords in the world - are displayed around the Inner Harbour of Victoria on Sunday, July 20. SPAM - Scale Plastic Automotive Modellers of Greater Victoria are presenting the fourth Deuce Days in Scale in the North & South Pender Rooms of the Hotel Grand Pacific. The model show essentially is a scale version of the car show taking place outside. Deuce Days in Scale will be open to the public from 9AM to 3:30PM with entry by donation. Children under 13 enter for free and will receive a car poster to take home to colour. Spectators will be asked to vote for their favourite model. Because this is primarily a display for the public, modellers are encouraged to bring as many of their models as possible. To allow more models to be displayed, for this year’s event, like the Good Guy’s car shows, models representing cars up to 1999 can be entered. When you think of it; 1999 is now over 25 years ago and the previous century. There will be 9 classes – Deuces, Hot Rods, Customs, Street Machines, Racing Cars, Factory Stock, Large Scale, Small Scale and Other Vehicles. Modellers will be asked to vote for their favourite model in each and favourite model overall. At the end of the show, all the favourite models will be announced. There will be special wards for the Favourite Deuce, the Favourite Over-All and Spectators’ Favourite. Steve H Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Thanks for posting this Phil. You know I’ll be there sir. It would be awesome to see of the forum members here attend. There has certainly been enough dueces built!! The outside car show is absolutely world class, and the scale show is a fantastic bonus. Weather is usually perfect too. Hope to see some “mainlanders” and hopefully some of our friends from south of the border will come with their styrene hot rods. It is a truly spectacular event for any car enthusiast. 1
espo Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I consider myself fortunate to have visited Victoria BC a couple of times in my life. One of the prettiest, and cleanest places ever. Enjoyed a cup of coffee sitting on the steps overlooking the harbor and watching the boats and sea planes land and takeoff. 2

Bring some models with you. Our inner harbour is pretty spectacular. So you can imagine that whole area around the harbour filled with about 1,000 hot rods from all over North America and beyond…. 2
DanL Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I'll be there... Nice to see it return after so many years. Looking forward to it Cheers Dan
