Steve H Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 Hi folks, got some better photos today. I will aim for having this “under glass” in the next couple of days. Thanks to everyone who followed along, added their stories, or shared links to their favourite builds of Plowboy’s. Roger left us way too soon, and his presence is missed here on the forum by many. I know I’m repeating myself, but I thoroughly enjoyed hearing from all of you, and it is heartwarming to know how many of you that Roger influenced. I loved his build style, and definitely miss him. RIP Plowboy, we miss you pal. Cheers, Steve 6
BK9300 Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Special build, Steve - really likes the camera! (not sure how I missed it before but like the roof antenna addon)
David G. Posted April 1 Posted April 1 That's awesome Steve! It just has such a great feel to it. David G.

It was a special build for me, thanks for your contributions. 12 hours ago, David G. said: That's awesome Steve! It just has such a great feel to it. David G. Thank you David. It felt good building it, and I am happy with the end result. Not my best, or most detailed build, but it looks good, and I hope captured the feel of Roger’s 49 Merc, blended with the 60 Ford.
johnyrotten Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Absolutely stunning build Steve. I've read through a few of Roger's build threads, he was an incredibly talented builder. Truly an artist. You definitely captured his style.
Zippi Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Yeah...that's how a 60 Ford shop truck should look. Great job on the build Steve.

It doesn’t have the fat fenders you like, but it is (in my opinion) a cool shop truck. I will be doing a fat fendered shop truck with my name on it later this year. Need to build a pro street Beaumont first though…
Chuckyg1 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 What a wonderful build, a true tribute. Roger would be proud. His memory lives on. 1

Really appreciated your support and encouragement on this journey. His memory does indeed live on, and his wonderful creations. I have a somewhat silly build in my head that would also have Roger’s name on it. A custom Porsche tractor with a blown hemi, I’ll get to it one day. I’ll probably have to scratch build a plow for it, just for “Plowboy”… 11 hours ago, Zippi said: I like what's coming up on your bench this year Steve. Bob, I think you will approve of the next 2. The shop truck will be a 41 Chev, with some big horsepower under the hood. The Beaumont will have some “big Ol boots” and some big horsepower too.

As I said in one of my earlier posts here, I could feel him looking over my shoulder at times during the build. I really enjoyed doing this, and the comments from those following this thread truly show how respected, he was, and how many of us he influenced. It means a lot to me that I can share this with his family. Thank you for taking the time to have look, and I hope you will have time to read all the kind comments other members here had to say about your dad. We all miss his presence. May I also say, I think it is amazing that you decided to join this forum. Your dad is for sure smiling down on you about that.
Steve H Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 If anyone wants to share a message here for Roger's daughter Heather, please feel free to do so.
