Mike 1017 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) This a Calypso Coral (Splash Paints) and Vermillion Red interior 1969 Boss 302's only 78 were built in this color combo. Most Excellent Fireball Tire Decals. I substituted the hood for a 69 GT hood. I am still looking for the Ram Air Hood. Kit went together well but, I had a lot of trouble with the front end I did the best that I could with it. Thanks for looking Mike This a Calipso Coral (Splash Paints) and Vermillion Red interior 1969 Boss 302. Witch only 78 were built in this color combo. Fireball tire decals. Kit was an easy build. BUT!! I had a lot of trouble with the front end, and I am not happy about it. One day I hope to find the Ram Air hood. Thanks for looking Mike Edited January 22 by Mike 1017 wrong word 14
STU111 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 G’day Michael, nice job on your Boss 302. I’m currently working on this kit myself, and yeah, the front took me a bit of massaging to get it to fit nice. Calypso coral paint with red interior is a striking combo. 👍🏻
vamach1 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Nice color combo. The 69 Boss 302s did not have ram air or hood scoop as perhaps Shinoda wanted them to look different from the Mach1 or Boss 429. I wish Revell had modified the interior that they borrowed from the Shelby GT500 kit that had the factory roll bar.

The 69 hood with the hood tach was artistic expression. LOL 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Beautiful build! I love muscle cars in factory colors.
espo Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Great looking color combination and finishes. Like the interior and engine detailing.
