Mopar - D Posted June 8 Author Posted June 8 Here’s a small progress update. Added some dirt on it. 4
David G. Posted June 8 Posted June 8 It looks great Dan! I see the hydraulics junctions there on the desk. I'm curious to see how you place and route the lines. David G.
Bugatti Fan Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Came upon this thread a bit late, but what a conversion ! Nice work Dan. Plenty of Evergreen and Plastruct sheet and sections come in to their own doing this sort of modification I would imagine.
Mopar - D Posted June 15 Author Posted June 15 Thanks Noel , your correct plenty of evergreen. I’ve got more coming when I get started on the Mack cab with the car rack on the top of it..

Mopar - D Posted June 22 Author Posted June 22 Just a small update this week not much time to work at the bench with work getting in the way. I’ve started working on the hydraulic lines with 2 of 16 done. hopefully I’ll get a few more done today. 2
David G. Posted June 28 Posted June 28 The trickiest thing I've found working with those lines is getting them to stay on the stubs. I used a tiny bit of PVA where needed but there's not really any adhesive that works well. Best of luck with yours. David G.
Mopar - D Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 Dave the way I’m attaching the hydraulic lines is by adding some wire into the hose and putting a 90 degree angle on it and then drilling holes in the cylinders and adding a little glue and they stay on. 1

That's a lot of work Dan! 😮 But it would certainly do the job, and you'd also be able to shave off all those redundant nubs on the junction boxes. Kind of a win-win. David G. 1
