Terry Jessee Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I found this partial build-up at a garage sale years ago. Pulled it apart and redid it. The idea was to duplicate a car I drew when I was in fifth grade. It would have been based on the original AMT '25 Double T kit. I didn't have the skill to build a model like my drawing then. But I found this old '23 and decided to try it a few years back. The third photo is pretty close to what I drew 50+ years ago. 17
espo Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Like your vision for this one. Great paint color and the almost stock body with a small block engine.
Lunajammer Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Wonderful nostalgia here. I suppose it's pretty unlikely you still have the drawing. That would've been a treat to see paired here.
stavanzer Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Fantastic Build, Terry. I really think it looks like a Street Rod would have looked back then. Good Show.
happy grumpy Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Very cool. Nice back story too, your younger self would be pleased.
